Fly with us and you will be flown by Paul Swanstrom, owner of Mountain Flying Service. Paul was born 3-20-55. My two main interests have been river running since 1979-1991 in Utah, Arizona and Alaska. Then changing to commercial flying starting Mountain Flying Service in 1992.

I have guided extensively on the Colorado River in Canyonlands and Grand Canyon National Parks. In 1987 thru 1991 guided in Glacier Bay National Park on the Tatshensheni and Alsek rivers.

I fell in love with flying along time ago. Being on the river shuttles in Cessna 185's over Alaska has made me want to be a backcountry pilot. I have been doing just that, since 1992. I have flown well over 7,000 hours flying in and around Glacier Bay and Wrangell St. Elias National Parks. I fly with Wheel-skis on my aircraft in spring and early summer enabling us to land high up on the Snowfields on the Glaciers, which is really worth doing. I have taken climbers and skiers out to many places such as Mt Fairweather, Mt. Cook, Mt Vancouver and Mt Logan.
